Review on 🏬 ClosetMaid 8985 Espresso Stackable 3-Shelf Organizer by Brandon Patterson

I was looking for something to use as a bedside table and I only had about 13 inches to work with. This shelf is perfect! Well, not *perfect*, but it fits what I need, it's relatively easy to put together, and it looks pretty good. It's not the strongest, but I don't plan on putting anything heavy on it (part of the slight wobble is due to my old and uneven floor), other than maybe a small lamp. I only put 2 drawers in because I wanted to use the top for storing books and other stuff, but I got the drawers that another reviewer mentioned (from Winsome) and they fit great! You could definitely bet 3 of these if you wanted to. The design of these shelves was below average. There was a big chip in a corner of one of the side panels, there were scratches and such, but honestly that's to be expected when you buy something like this in this price range. The chip didn't affect the stability of the shelves and I was able to hide this by placing this shelf on the other side of the bed where it wasn't visible. I also chose not to put the back. I don't have a hammer (and even if I do, I don't really want to annoy the neighbors with knocking noises or accidentally break my thumb), and somehow the back part still seems kind of redundant to me, at least for my purposes, I rolled up pieces of adhesive tape to keep the shelves in place and put on small plastic clips. Works like a charm and you can't see it unless you lay down and look at the bottom of the shelves (even then it's not very noticeable). Not the most elegant solution, but it does the job. I didn't attach it to the wall either, because the plaster in my apartment is pretty weak and I don't want to cause any damage. I'll load the shelves with heavier stuff (like books) to keep the shelves stable and I'm sure everything will be fine. and you will not be disappointed! For the price these shelves are great, easy to assemble and all in all they look pretty good. If you are looking for shelves that will become a family heirloom that will be passed down from generation to generation, shop for a variety of shelves. But if you just want to use a few simple shelves as storage cabinets, nightstands or tables, that's great!
