I have many Nema 23 stepper motors in stock and I know very well how they behave when 4 amps are run through them. This stepper driver doesn't seem to do that. After a while most engines get hot while this driver can only warm up the engine. Its torque also seemed very underpowered, the driver I replaced it with can do the job this one couldn't without skipping steps, all at the same current settings. It looks like someone is lying about their current settings. However, the cost isn't that bad. I knew it was a really cheap driver box. This driver should probably only be used for Nema 17 motors, I think it will work very well in those cases. Except for the current release, I have nothing to complain about and otherwise it does its job very well.
