Very disappointing. I will never buy a Fermonster product again.
Lid difficult to remove after "turning by hand". I had to use 2 very large pairs of channel locks to take the cover off after hand tightening. Lubricating the thread with olive oil did not help. It is difficult to get the cork firmly onto the lid. The top of the cap where the cork goes in is very thin and doesn't have a good grip on the cork and I think it will eventually break. They sell a "special key" for the lid that was supposed to come with this fermenter, or at least warn customers that they might need it. I don't think I will ever buy a Fermonster product again.
