Review on 🐠 Fluval Chi II Replacement Filter Pad, 3-Pack: Maintain Clean Aquarium Water by Alina Manley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great price for a decent filter for a bad tank

I'm not a fan of the Fluval Chi Aquarium or fish in general, but that's another story. If you don't need to buy these filters, this is a great value (I paid $6.99 for a 3 pack, it's $7.06 at the time of this review) compared to yours local pet store. If you haven't already invested in a Fluval aquarium (why would you look at filters if you don't have one?), consider other options. More, with better filtering. Mine is very difficult to keep clean, especially for algae. The white side of the filter turns completely green after 1-2 weeks and I wash it 3-4 times before throwing it away and replacing it with new filters. I don't think the filter's job is to attract algae. Given the limited and unintentional fishing experience I've had, the filter should pump from the bottom where all the dirt (and algae) settles, rather than the top like the Fluval Chi. If I were to review an aquarium I would give it two stars - one for water retention and one for style. But since it's just for the filter why not 4 stars for a great price.
