Big surprise for Filter

I first upgraded my truck with an exhaust and muffler with a stainless steel Magnaflow catalytic converter. This, along with the new O2 sensors, really woke up the dormant V6, hit my gas mile goal and the new found performance was really great. When it came to buying this intake system, I had a really hard time buying it. would do anything. It's been on my wish list for a long time! In the end I made the decision to ONLY buy it because the looks (if you own this truck model you know the engine looks pretty ugly) will be improved. Performance, so don't expect it,' was my take. I'm happy to report that this intake affects performance, gas mileage (if you stop stepping on the accelerator) and yes, the engine bay looks nice ". Is that a V8? NO. But... It sharpens the engine's response and, oddly enough, the way the automatic transmission shifts too. The advert says there will be about 5 horsepower. The air intake sucks that cool, tight air intake in." The exhaust and now the intake improvements have really paid off and I really enjoy driving my truck now.

Pros
  • IMPROVED TOWING: Improves acceleration and climb performance when towing with improved throttle response.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
