Review on 🧵 Aurifil A1050-2310 Mako Cotton Thread: Solid Light Beige - 50WT/1422Yds - High-Quality Crafting Thread by Tammy Reeves

I have heard so much about Aurifil yarn but am very disappointed with this purchase. Even after changing the needle on my sewing machine, checking the correct tension and making sure I have the right size needle for that 50w thread, it kept breaking. I took my 1 year old Bernina to the dealer to inspect the car for burrs or anything else in the car that caused the breakdown but all was fine. When I brought my typewriter home, I tried the Aurifil filament again and the break continued. I went back to joining threads and Gutterman threads with no problems. Maybe it was an old spool of thread, but for the price I won't buy the thread again.
