You can Install These Without the Tool

I need some 1/2 T-Nuts. Can't find them at the local big box stores or on amazon, so it was going to be pretty pricy to get them from a specialty hardware mail order store. I used these instead, installing them in some 1/8 thick scrap metal plate, then I mounted the plate with four screws in the corners. You can see other reviews that explain how to expand these with some nuts, washers and wrenches, versus buying the tool.
