Cannot be used with Smart Plug but otherwise works fine
I originally bought this in the hope that I could bypass the remote control and number button on the USB plug by plugging it into the Smart use plug. It will not work. The board does not remember the last setting, so after plugging/connecting you must either press the button or use the remote control. be illuminated. If you cut the board off and just use your own USB connector, only half the lights will light up. If you use the included remote control, it has a range of about 10 feet. All this to say that the indicators work great with many sequencing options. if you connect them as intended.
