Review on 🖥️ SilverStone Grandia Series GD09B: Premium Aluminum HTPC Computer Case for ATX / SSI-CEB - Black by David Olson

Great product for my purposes. Enough space for a pair of peripherals (2xSSD and 1xHDD). Fits RTX 3070 no problem. A modular power supply is definitely recommended as the cables are tight, but there are plenty of fan mounting points. The liquid cooling would also be quite narrow and would require some sizing research to fit as the motherboard only covers the intake fans by a few millimeters on the right side. That's enough for a gaming HTPC or desktop PC, with room for a decent air cooler, and even more room for a larger cooler if you only have M.2 drives or only 1 HDD/SSD so you can fit the compartment for that remove optical drive. I'm using a Noctua NH-U9S in a pull configuration. If this were an HTPC with an optical drive, a low-profile cooler (like a stock Ryzen cooler) would likely be required to connect the optical drive. If you like, you can try rectangular connectors to make this configuration work with a tower cooler. I think the case has a good fit and finish and the intake filters are very effective without restricting airflow too much. The plastic front panel instead of brushed aluminum is a pity, but the case still cuts a fine figure in an entertainment center. The overall build quality is very good, the case is made of solid black aluminum. The screws that come with it are pretty cheap, but they work. The three downsides that come to mind are the lack of thumbscrews for the lid, which can easily be replaced with aftermarket thumbscrews, and the oddly large and bulky USB connection cable, which is too long and feels like it has reinforced rubber , which is redundant only for 2xUSB 3.0 ports. The 120mm fan that comes with the case is also the noisiest despite being a slow fan. If this weren't a gaming PC the fan speed could be kept low, but for a gaming build you'll probably want to replace it with a higher quality fan.
