Quality and tranquility at a great price.

Enough space to assemble a good HTPC. The drive mount is versatile - it's designed to mount a 5.25" drive (BD/DVD/CD) and has a nicely padded area underneath for a 3.5" hard drive OR skip the hard drive and use the recessed holes at the bottom. 5.25 and install the SSD underneath (so you need to install the SSD before the BD/DVD drive) It's either/or install. Hard Drive or Solid State Drive Simply amazing. No brackets for spare drives and not much cabling work. They included some black zip…

Good case not great

So I bought this case to build a home theater pc which is its design. It's a surprisingly large chassis for this purpose and will fit a very large motherboard if needed, which is a good thing. However, due to its size, it barely fits on my TV stand and I can see how that can be an issue for some people. The front plastic feels a little cheap but the color looks nice. There are no partitions inside, so all computer equipment can be easily installed. There are a few perforated tabs on the bottom…

The stock AMD cooler doesn't fit the inserted 5.25 " bay

The stock cooler for Ryzen 9 3900X is too big to fit under the 5.25" drive bay where the 3.5" bays are fixed, effectively breaking the case down into a single 3.5" bay if you want to use the stock AMD cooler. Standard Intel coolers would probably fit just fine. I took this as an opportunity to move my Blu-ray drive to an external enclosure and discard hard drive storage entirely for this build. My previous case (Lian Li PC-B10 from almost a decade ago) had additional noise-dampening foam on the

I bought this Silverstone case because the previous Grandia didn't fit the GTX 1080 TI I stumbled across. Little did I know when I bought it that the 1080 TI would be three times longer than the 1060 I already had. I bought the largest model without a lockable front panel. I was able to get the space down about an inch and up about a half inch, enough room to install a graphics card. That's about the only positive thing I can say about the case layout if you decide to use some fairly…

Poor interior and wiring

I had a standard ATX board that I wanted to fit into an HTPC case, but needed full access to the DVD drive, front USB and headphone jacks ie. there was no front door, and in fact it was the only one I could find. One thing you need to know about this is that if anything goes wrong or if you ever want to change anything, you will have to completely disassemble the entire computer. If you've always wanted to install a 2.5" drive where it's supposed to be, the first thing you need to do is remove…

Silverstone GD09B (RTX 3070) Ryzen 5 5600X Gaming/HTPC Build

Great product for my purposes. Enough space for a pair of peripherals (2xSSD and 1xHDD). Fits RTX 3070 no problem. A modular power supply is definitely recommended as the cables are tight, but there are plenty of fan mounting points. The liquid cooling would also be quite narrow and would require some sizing research to fit as the motherboard only covers the intake fans by a few millimeters on the right side. That's enough for a gaming HTPC or desktop PC, with room for a decent air cooler, and…
