Review on πŸ”§ WEN 10423 1" Steel Hardened Precision Inch by Justin Albright

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Revain ships these heavy duty, high precision gauges in a plastic bag, ie.

TOP price! I'm sure they were in great condition too, until Revain mailed them in a flimsy plastic envelope. They weigh 1 pound each and are made to pretty tight measurement and calibration tolerances, so just toss a few in a flimsy envelope and ship them across the country. They'll be fine, right?! Well, seven of the eight outer corners were broken during transport. How does that even come about?! I swear they would have done better if they just stuck the shipping label directly onto the metal blocks and tossed them in the van. Oh, but my sheets of sandpaper arrived a few days earlier in a box and wrapped in bubble wrap so they were ok. I'm giving them one star which is totally unfair to WEN because they make really good stuff at a very low price. Prices, but someone at Revain needs to tick a box in their system to tell their warehouses to stop sending stuff like that in those silly little envelopes. My high quality table saw blade also arrived in a damaged plastic envelope. I get very tired of it.
