10 minutes from start to finish of the installation on a 2008 CR-V. Pull the tire off, remove the rear sill (2 clips and remove), remove 1 clip at the back of the trunk on the driver's side bottom, slide the side panel out a bit, locate the white connector on top of the wheel Bow, tied to the wiring harness (blue tape around it), loosen and connect, use the included double sided tape and stick it anywhere you want (I did it in the sidebar), reassemble everything. Leave the connector and cable in the spare wheel area and drape it over the bumper if necessary, as the tailgate will not damage the wiring.
