I have several Jennings weights. I use the CJ-600 most often. I have no complaints about that. I ordered this because there are things I need to be aware of that are a little light on the CJ-600 (0.1g vs. 0.01g). So I paid a little (double) more for it. When switched on, the CJ-600 turns on and works in 2-3 seconds. TB500 must go through the series. however. and takes 10-20 seconds before I can use it. The problem is that with prolonged idle (not measured) it turns off and you have to turn it on again, and this is another 10-20 seconds. So if you use this all the time, you'll probably be fine. But if you have to go away for 30 seconds, for example, you have to start over. The CJ-600 doesn't.
