The product looks great and functions as expected.Pros:I love the glass globe and the warm/cold tone light options. The light flickers some, most likely due to the mist and water moving inside the globe. However, looks much better in the space than the "wood look" finished one it is replacing. The colors are neutral, but interesting and fit into our decor nicely.It has a smaller reservoir than my previous model, but lasts 9 hours (or more) as claimed in the posting.The scent given off is nice (noticeable, but not overwhelming). Of course the level of scent depends on the quantity of oil added to the reservoir.The cons:Although I would not call its operation noisy, I would not call it quiet either. It does give off a noticeable hum and gurgle.Taking the glass cover off to access the plastic reservoir can be cumbersome.Verdict:Yes, I recommend this itemYes, I would buy it againYes, I would give one as a gift
