For the money you can't go wrong with these rocklights. I bought a set of 8 and installed them on my 16 foot Jeep Wrangler. Placement: I used self tapping screws to attach the headlights (minus the rubber part) directly to the inner fenders. There they are! I placed one on the stabilizer bar in the center of the front of the jeep and secured it in place. I used silicon glue to stick two magnets on the back of the remaining three lights. I placed them in the middle of the jeep on each side, placed them on the frame spars and the last one on the body to the hitch receiver. The magnets keep them in place well. I installed the box next to the battery and connected it directly to the battery. Tips: The three wires of the cable were not long enough to reach the box under the hood. The three wires were very long. I cut the length off the long ones and soldered them to the ones that needed the extra length. Beneath the insulation are individual wires that are color coded for easy identification. Extensions would have been easier, but it was made simple enough. Problem: The only problem I've found is that sometimes my phone (or other phones) can't "find" the receiver. The only remedy was to turn the box off and plug it back in. After that they work as expected. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. However, if I plugged them into an additional power adapter or power switch, it wouldn't be a problem. Impression: buy! They look cool and for the price you can't beat them! I especially like to see the light shining on the ground around my mud tires. They look like saw blades! Pretty cute and really dizzy!
