I chose it for a work laptop and really liked the portrait mode for reading and viewing documents.

In portrait mode, however, the viewing angle is a bit narrow - if your eyes aren't aligned properly, darker areas will overlap or the backlight will play with your eyes and can be quite difficult to read at times. It's worth it though because I stop blinking and spend half the day wondering if it's 6, 8, 9 or am I just going completely blind.
