I had read some reviews before purchasing these beads and many commented on how small the bucket was. It's definitely not huge - but these pearls are tiny and there are tons of them in the bucket. You have no idea how many Perler 6000 beads til your kids spill them on the floor lol. This set is great. The set included multiple boards of different shapes to create cool Perler beaded jewelry. I was a bit disappointed with the tiny sheet of thermal paper you put between the iron and the beads, but it's just parchment paper and you can buy a giant roll for less than $5. Don't make my mistake and try Using wax paper as a last resort lol it's not a good result. We've had this bucket of beads for at least 5 months now and they're only half done. If you've gone crazy and done a bunch of projects, I suspect they won't take that long. But for 4 kids making multiple designs multiple times in one session, this will take a long time. I highly recommend this particular 'starter kit' set, it has a great range of colored beads and the boards that are included cover all the basic shapes you could want.
