Review on 🎨 Leda Art Supply Cold Pressed Watercolor Pad 2 Pack - 48 Pages, 300gsm - Italian Art Paper, A4 Size (8.25 x 11.5 inches), Slightly Textured for Classic Techniques by Michelle Davis

After I found out from the manufacturer that this paper is vegan, I received 2 cold-pressed pads, which I am very happy about. Craft paints, my Windsor and Newton Cotman student paints, and some of my artist paints all looked great on him. First I tried it wet on wet. The paper didn't absorb all the water right away and didn't curl a lot, which is unusual - my 300gsm paper tends to warp a lot if I don't glue it, but I didn't glue it for this review . Ink moves across this paper, rises well, and non-staining colors rise on drying and re-wetting. I tried glazing and layering and all that stuff and it worked fine. I applied wet paint to wet paper and it spread well. The colors didn't look dull after drying, so they didn't sink into the paper. I'm gifting this to a friend - she's always used Strathmore but I think she'll love it. I know that. It's not the best paper, but it's really fun to draw on with all sorts of techniques and everything looks great when the drawings are done. I am very comfortable.
