I love colored pencils- they're my favorite drawing and coloring medium- and these are excellent!They are right up there in quality with Prismacolor, and possibly lay an even more intense coat of pigment. than the Prismacolor ones.I use an electric sharpener, and have not had any problems with the leads breaking off when sharpened.The only disadvantage is that the box does not open nicely to make all the colors easily visible and accessible; a stepped set-up would be a lot nicer.Still- very recommended! It's a good price (at $9 US) for an excellent range of good colored pencils, for adult coloring books or for kids who are growing out of crayons., especially if you do not want to buy a huge box of Prismacolors.
