Since the Dyson DPO4 was $500, I got tired of using other manufacturers' filters. The original filter lasted about a year with overnight use, but when it came to buying a new set of filters for the unit, the OEM filters were $75. Seems like a lot of money for filters. So I did a little research and looked at a few reputable substitutes. I chose isinlive replacement hepa filter and read some reviews. My main concern was that they could be detected and reset the monitor settings on the Dyson machine. It wasn't a problem at all. They fit the device perfectly and I was able to reset the filter monitor with no issues. Looking at filters side by side, OEM and non-original, there are some slight differences in shape design, I am sure this is for legal reasons. , but the clips and latches are all in place. The internal filter appears to be the same quality as the OEM filter, but I noticed that the OEM filter has a fine mesh screen that is NOT available in the aftermarket. Also, they are very similar and work exactly like the OEM. I've been using it for about a month with no problems, at night, on schedule.
