Very nice set of chisels

I've lost count of how many chisels I have. Different manufacturers, different types. I didn't really need another set but I thought they looked good and I could carve a different bevel on some of my old chisels and reuse them. I didn't expect as much from this set as when I bought my LN bits. But was I surprised. I use each of these chisels to cut the ends of a pine tree out of the box. I flattened the back and ground the bevel and I found myself reaching for them with my LN chisels. The chisel is well balanced and has a comfortable handle and socket so you can rotate the new handles if you want or need to. I used waterstones (Norton) for leveling and sanding, then polished the hollow ground bevel to a mirror finish. I like them very much and am satisfied. Update: I've had them for about six weeks. I'm just as happy today as I was six weeks ago. I've used one of these chisels every day for the past six weeks. I cut out the pine behind a pine corner cabinet I am building. I have yet to resharpen the 3/4" bit (I've sharpened it several times) and it will still shave the end grain. Update: months in use. Still happy. they fit my hand well. The handles are very durable. You've seen a lot of flat chisels and now I've used all the sizes included in the set. I trimmed the bevel on my best stone with a 3/4" chisel and two large trimming bits. Otherwise everything will be fine! Another update: over a year of use. Chisels are still a joy to use. One thing I've found is that these chisels are much easier to sharpen on oilstones compared to other brands (LN). I switched from water stones to oil stones (Dan's Whetstone Company) and then settled on green loaded leather. I can sharpen right on the machine. No sink, much less leveling, no water. This is a big deal for me as I will most likely always have a very sharp chisel and not have to fiddle with water stones. Using oil stones and a sling, it takes two minutes from dull to sharp (mirror shine on the bevel and surface of the bit).
