Rough ups and downs in the rain

I had and loved a Pedal Commander on my 2013 Dodge Durango V-6. But it's finally raining in Texas, and now I'm worried. If you drive on the highway without pressing the gas pedal, the car will simply slow down or speed up a little. If you then try to apply pressure to get back to that speed, the pedal will move but not increase speed until it suddenly starts accelerating. (I use sport setting +3). . Releasing the pedal after a burst of acceleration and then pressing the pedal back up to speed works fine. But again it periodically slows down or squirts easily. I tried the "City 0" setting and it works there too. Although there may have been rain affecting the traction control system, I still had an issue with the traction control turned off. The control pedal works fine even when it's not raining. And does not present this issue. I'm wondering if I'm the only one having this issue or is it possible that my device is moisture sensitive? Or so. I do not know. But driving in the rain is a safety issue for me! At the time of writing this review, there is still no answer; from Pedal Commander customer support for almost a month!
