Review on 🚀 Airaid Cold Air Intake System: Maximizes Horsepower, Ensures Premium Filtration: Fitment for 2008-2013 CHEVROLET (Corvette) AIR-250-230 by Hesham Peltier

I have a Corvette '08 coupe and wanted to replace the intake manifold with a more durable one. I looked at all options. Airaid is reasonably priced and I see no reason to spend more money on entry. They are all very similar. Anyway, Airaid came quickly from Revain and I installed it the same day. The only criticism: The instructions could have been better, but that's not rocket science. This device comes with a fairly large, well-made filter. The main body is made of plastic and appears to be of good quality. You will need to remove one of the standard hub posts for the fenders to fit properly. I had to buy longer bolts to mount the metal fenders. I really don't think the wings do anything special and they could probably be left. I installed them anyway. The theory behind the fenders, I believe, is to keep hot air from the engine from entering the air intake. The wings screw into the sides of the air intake and then attach to the radiator shroud. I would definitely recommend this trick. At the same time, I installed a ported throttle body, so I don't know exactly which one added the most horsepower. My car runs great with this intake.
