I'm writing this review on day one, about 8 hours of use. I have an AMD Phenom II x6 (1090) 3.2GHz. With the stock heatsink with handbrake, all 6 cores worked at 100%, the temperature was always between 60 and 66 degrees Celsius. Now I have increased the clock to 3.6 GHz on this Cryorig A40, and with the handbrake it runs as usual in the maximum range of 28-31 degrees Celsius. Unbelievable! I also ran Prime95 for 1 hour and 20 minutes and the temperature never went above 32 degrees! The instructions show the fans to be pushed out through the heatsink and case, but I installed mine on the side and the fans pull air into the case and the heatsink is mounted directly to the side panel. I did it because I wanted positive pressure. Maybe I'll change directions with a better case, but for now it's in a cool environment. I think my setup is a bit noisy but I can't really blame the fans, it's most likely the air escaping through the vents.
