Evecase 11.6' 12.5' Notebook Chromebook - blueThis is the best case for use with my new Dell XPS 13 laptop - it fits in side the main pocket like a glove with adequate room around the top where the zipper goes - in fact, appears that there is an internal lip so that the zipper does not hit the enclosed laptop. The padding is very good on both sides of the interior with a dot pattern. The bottom of the compartment has some padding, but I suggest adding a strip of dense foam there in case of an inadvertent drop - I took some 1/8 inch or so dense packing foam and cut a 1/2 inch strip to go there.The case is very light yet protective! I'll try to weight it later, but the lightest one I have for this style of case.The outer pocket (bulging one) is also foam lined with plenty of room for small accessories like a charger and ear phones - it also has a side interior pocket for papers/pens/whatever. Because it is not flat, (roughly 3/4 depth) it offers utility and accepts items with minimum tension caused by over sized objects like a charger. I don't normally take my charger with me as the XPS 13 has great battery life -There is another zippered compartment on the other side - its outside is not padded. It is big enough for papers & docs - I also use it for my 9.8" Samsung S2 tablet with a case on it.The top handles make carrying the case very easy - it is my day-to-day case now, with enough room to carry some items that I use and surprisingly light AND compact. It is like having a sleeve on it except much easier to handle!I also like the color - nice to get away from black.Totally satisfied with this case after using it for several weeks now.Update, 6/25/17 - still love it and it is holding up well including no sign of wear & tear. The roomy outside pocket really can hold a lot.
