Fixed a fuel leak on my LR4. Common problem on all Range Rover Sports and LR4 with 5.0 liter V8 engines. A clear flaw in the original design. You will see the leak running and dripping into the gas tank. Started with the smell of gasoline, and in less than a week it was dripping when parked. Dangerous. Surprisingly, the gas tank is very easy to drop, but having a two-story jack and some wood for leverage helps. Install the gas tank as low as possible to make it lighter. Unfortunately I have 2/3 tank, but the gas was literally dripping and it wasn't safe to drive. Took me about 2 hours to install and another 2 to install. I would recommend buying a new o-ring for extra security. Wash everything thoroughly so that nothing falls into the fuel tank. Spending $50 at Revain was better than $1,000 at the store!
