After leaving our heated garage door open for 3 hours in -10 degrees Fahrenheit I decided I needed security. I chose this design because it had a spring contact so I didn't have to pinpoint the position. Wired NC mode in series with the thermostat prevents the heater from starting when the garage door is open. They appear to be very well made and have very easy access for wiring.
