I ordered this because I have large projects where I collect data from both QR and barcodes. Setup was easy, plug and play. I contacted support when I couldn't scan a specific QR code (inverse) and they responded incredibly quickly (minutes) with a barcode that, once scanned, enabled the feature. This saves me hours of manual data entry for both inventory and record keeping! They also have great detailed documentation which they are happy to email to you upon request. I respect their decision to go green and not print 300-page paper manuals that ship with every scanner. This scanner (model AS 8957) cannot be surpassed in terms of value for money. 10/10 unreserved recommendation!
