There are some reviews about magnets being weak, are they lying? I'm not a judge, I can only say what I experienced with this light. If I put it on a metal surface that's not very ferrous, yeah, it won't stick well. Isn't that true of most magnets, especially flashlights, which have a heavy top and magnetic base? This particular flashlight is anything but "super heavy", in fact I was surprised at how small and compact it is, yet bright. It is very versatile and works great under the hood or in the engine bay. Yes, you will have trouble gluing it if the metal you want to glue it to is "mixed". I really don't think you will be disappointed with this purchase. I was not.
