Bright and only suitable for small jobs. The automotive use of this lamp is limited as it does not hold a charge long enough. At full brightness you might get 40 minutes. Don't even bother with the other brightness w because it's not bright enough. The light is only suitable for cable repairs and smoke detection (evaporation testing) in daylight settings. If only it lasted longer at full power.

I have used many large and small work lanterns, this is by far my favorite of all types. I even ordered a second one and with the you can't go wrong with the larger version, it has a great magnetic base and 2 different bulbs, one blue and the other helps distinguish colours, works very well although you can't turn them both on at the same time it's still bright enough to to see in the dark. the darkest corners of your engine bay

I took this to put in my tool bag. I'm not a professional or contractor - just a homeowner living in a home where there is always something to fix. I've had this light for about 6 months now and I love it. You won't find another compact flashlight with the performance and quality that this flashlight has. I use this light almost every day and it gets abused. I've dropped it over 10 feet on hard surfaces, I've thrown it into pans of industrial grease, I've spilled chemicals on it, and I've even left it outside in the rain. It hasn't let me down yet. I really like this lamp. I bought it to light up small areas around the house and my car. So far I've used it under the sink to illuminate the work area in sink plumbing renovations.
