Wax smells like rot! One of the best parts of beeswax is the smell. so disappointed! The paper bag arrived on time but was torn allowing the pellets to end up in the mailer. I live near a lot of beekeepers and we often see natural beeswax. It wasn't beeswax, it was paraffin. After researching, I found out that this company imports wax from unregulated sources, which may cut the wax with paraffin, may contain pesticides, and use questionable methods that result in the product having an unpleasant odor. Moral: Never buy beeswax from sources that cannot explain exactly where the wax came from.
