I purchased 235/40/R18 tires at my own risk, and I rode them for a few weeks. When the temperature is high, the ground is very soft, and the car floats when being driven. This contrasts with the summer (goodyear asymmetric 3), when rails with a profile like that were used. Although I haven't tried it at the drift limit yet, it is already better at minus 5; there isn't any extreme softness, and it maintains itself nicely in corners in dry weather.
