I really liked this little temperature sensor - just what I needed to monitor the (external) temperature of my upgraded Sur Ron battery! It gets very cold where I live and batteries lose capacity at low temperatures. So. I used aluminum tape to tape the USB powered heaters to the outside of the battery, attached the temp sensor to a separate piece - a little away from the heaters, and then insulated the whole thing with foam. The outside temperature of my battery has dropped from 32 to 58 degrees! This increased my range from about 60% to about 95%! :) And this little sensor allowed me to keep a close eye on him - even while driving. I just put the digital part in the phone holder. The LCD also seems to perform surprisingly well in cold temperatures - where most LCDs slowly start to fade and refresh slowly in low temperatures. It also seems to match pretty closely what my supposed thermometer reads (tested before I insulated everything). 5 stars across the board.
