I won't lie. My house is like a zoo, but all of our pets take flea pills every month. However, we have literally hundreds of feral cats in our area, and they come into the garden at night and scatter flea eggs everywhere. Even without a carpet, leather furniture and two closets, I would still find fleas in my bed. So rude! I bought them and two covers for the mattress and the box spring bed. I used to spend a lot more on pillowcases when my kids were little and they weren't half as good. fleas? What fleas baby?
