Great results with two tablets and hot tap water for a 3 year old CamelBack water bladder

So I have a 3-4 year old CamelBack water bladder with a long hose and a bite valve that I used to ride in the mountains Biked, motorbiked and hiked for 4 years and never cleaned and the water tasted good. As if it came from a heavily used 4 year old unwashed water bladder. Anyway, I did some google searches to clean water blisters like mine, found this product and decided to give it a try. I followed the directions and filled my bladder with hot tap water but added 2 pills instead of 1 (there were 30 pills in the box) and then left it for 45 minutes. During this time foam formed in the bottle. As instructed, I flexed my bladder, squeezed, and worked for about another minute to ensure the foam reached the entire interior of my bladder. I then release about 50% of the contents through the bite valve into the sink. Oddly enough, the water was light blue in color and had a pleasant citrus smell. I then poured out the remaining contents and thoroughly rinsed the inside of the bladder with clean tap water, also draining some water through the bite valve. I then removed the top cap from the bladder and let it air dry overnight. The next day I refilled it and rinsed it with tap water and then filled it up for the hike. The water tasted great! The two tabs did it and I was 100% satisfied. My friend drank too and also remarked that the water tasted completely clean - with no citrus aftertaste. It was just good, clean, tasty water and I'm very happy!
