This product is very well made, looks very solid and has a metal body instead of plastic. It works great on both my Windows desktop and my MacBook Pro. My two hard drives (1.5TB and 8TB) are recognized correctly and on a Mac it can be used to back up the time machine in addition to storing data, which is quite handy. This dock also offers two USB 3.0 ports, which I tested with my flash drive, I get a transfer speed of around 120MB from HDD to PC, which is what I expect from a USB 3 port. The SD and MicroSD -Card slots are definitely a plus. I've used it several times to read data from the phone and the camera's microSD card. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, thanks to the features it offers I no longer need to have two docking stations, a USB hub and a card reader on my desk.
