Bought the shield two-pack to protect a front plate from bugs, road tar, etc., but installed both over the front and back license plates of a California car. It was sized perfectly and the screw holes lined up accurately. The edges did not interfere with the front bracket fastened to the front bumper; the shield fit like a glove. The shield feels substantial, not like a thin piece of plastic. I don't like bezels around plates, and I've never protected a license plate in nearly 50 years of car ownership, but thought I'd try something new on a new car. I'm glad I did.
