Thinner than other clear shield plates. Not sure how it will hold up. To be continued.

After a couple months I bumped this from 3 to 5 stars. It is a thinner plastic compared to what I had been using but holds up very well as is strong plastic. *Origianl review* First thought was how flimsy this plastic is. I've had Bell plate protectors for years that are about twice the thickness and have more defined lip and raise that protect vanity plates quite well. After years of use the Bell shield was needing to be replaced being cracked and pitted from rock impacts. I went with this…

well pleased so far.

this was a nice looking product that was easy to install. It makes the tag really stand out. The durability remains to be seen. It has only been on for a month. hopefully it wont fade out or get cloudy due to exposure to the elements.

looks good and does the job it is suppose to do.

Put it on the front to help protect the plate I put on front from weather and debris from the road. hope it last for a long time good price for a pair. I think it will last a long time. And all the holes line up good with the holes on the plate.

Sturdy and fits well over front and rear plates

Bought the shield two-pack to protect a front plate from bugs, road tar, etc., but installed both over the front and back license plates of a California car. It was sized perfectly and the screw holes lined up accurately. The edges did not interfere with the front bracket fastened to the front bumper; the shield fit like a glove. The shield feels substantial, not like a thin piece of plastic. I don't like bezels around plates, and I've never protected a license plate in nearly 50 years of car…

Don’t be fooled into the cheap price & BS claims.

Purchased these in May 2020 & installed on a new vehicle, within 5 months, not only were there random cracks through them, but they had yellowed horribly. DO NOT waste your money on these.

Very brittle and easily scratched.

The cover is very thin, brittle and easily scratched. When installing one of them I was holding it against the bumper from the middle and it cracked in half completely from top to bottom and broke in to two pieces. At least the holes lined up properly.

Durability good for me

Only time will tell but these plate covers do not look or feel like they will last very long. I hope I'm wrong. The price probably reflects my opinion as I got two for what I normally would pay for one.

Not worth the money

Not what I expected. Put on my 2020 Blazer and cracked as soon as it was installed. Not worth the money. Will get GM parts Thanks for attention!

Not bad for the price

Initial review.placed on front to cover novelty plate and is good so far. Will eventually add to this as it claims to be unbreakable.UpdateAccidentally pushed the rear plate as I was closing the tail gate, and it cracked right in the center. These are far from great. Lowered to three, as they claim to be unbreakable.

Lasts about four months in the winter

Purchased and installed a set mid-October. As of today, 3/4/20, they are yellowed and cracking. It's like the plastic is breaking down, and it didn't even have to endure a single Northern California summer. 0/10 would not buy.

We purchased this based on description as "unbreakable”, however, it cracked easily when small piece of stone hit. Unable to reach seller via email.

Get what you pay for

Bought a set of these October 2019 and now less than a year later they have turned yellow and one recently cracked under slight pressure. My car is garage kept so they were not even consistently out in the elements over the past ten months.
