If I could give 4.5 stars I would. I took this pump out and immediately used it in my winter shelter to remove most of the recent rain. It works great! I love how it's weighted underneath so it stays in place on the lid or wherever you pull it out. Just two minor issues: 1) I wish the hose was a little longer. It's 16 feet long, which is barely enough to get it away from the pool and somewhere in the yard for a drain. I can use a power cord extension, so I prefer a long hose over a long power cord (25 feet). 2) It comes with three different sized hose adapters so it will only work with the smallest adapter for the hose that comes with it. This is normal because the stock is perfect. Enough to drain the pool but not so much that you have to worry about draining too quickly and flooding the area. So two additional adapters seem superfluous to me. Those little things aside, this is the perfect little workhorse! Very happy with it!
