Firstly, the case is very difficult to put on the iPad and there are no instructions that offer tips on how to fit it. It looks great and feels like a good pillow. We've had the case for a while, but the iPad hasn't been dropped yet, so I can't comment on the level of protection. After about 6 months of use, the case around the iPad starts to loosen. We never took the iPad out so we don't stretch it, but it seems to stretch anyway. What I really like is that it has been water spattered and the case is water resistant. Device ports/buttons. The case folds around the charging port but has deep cutouts around the buttons. Up until now my 6 year old has always used an iPad around adults. I'll give it to him and upgrade the case to something more permanent than this. So I think that's the point. The case is decent, but I don't feel it's enough to protect the case during unsupervised use by a child.
