Easy installation. Good for College Twin XL mattress. Not very soft but then again my skin doesn't touch it. It also doesn't make any hoarse noises. I put memory foam in the cover, mattress topper, and sheet on top of the college mattress. The mattress topper gives me peace of mind that the mattress others have used has a zip and I start a new life on a hygienic basis. I'll probably take the cover off when I move out after term and throw it away, so I have no comment on washing it. By using this mattress topper I don't have to take any of this mattress home with me and will be buying a new one for my next mattress next semester. Excellent goods!
