I've got an ancient dishwasher and they worked great. Some of the cleanest dishes I've ever taken out of the dishwasher, I was looking really hard for spots but didn't see any. I am impressed but skeptical of what's in them. How is this possible and how to replicate the results more cost effectively I just don't know.It loses points for the price and the only reason I got them was a sale. Even on sale these are still a lot per wash. I like the hard flip-top container though and will likely repurpose it for some under-the-sink organization. Good for storing sponges and scrubbers.I saw some reviews that say they don't dissolve, which made me hesitate to buy them, glad I ignored those reviews, they must have a problem with their machine or maybe the type of water in their system won't dissolve the gel pack. But maybe that's a consideration if you've had problems with Gel Packs before.Beyond the gimmicky "pretty" packs and higher cost per load, I like them, but don't know if I'll buy again unless I see a similar sale. These are still at about $0.20c per load on the sale price compared to about $0.07c per load for gel liquid in a bottle that's at regular price. At 3x the price I would normally pay to wash dishes, I will consider this a luxury item I will ordinarily do without.
