Review on Kraus KGD 433B Double Granite Kitchen by Micah Manus

We bought this sink from Revain about two months ago. Received it two days later but the back right corner was broken and ripped off the sink. I called Kraus first thing Wednesday morning and spoke to Tony. He emailed him pictures of the damage along with a copy of my invoice and said he would order a replacement assuring me it would be dispatched the same day. Later that day I received an email with tracking information for a replacement sink. On Friday, literally two days later, I received a second broken sink. This time it was the back left corner. At this point, we worried because we thought Kraus would lose patience and somehow make his problem our problem, like many modern companies do. I emailed photos of the damage to Tony and then called and shared my observations on packaging and shipping. In both instances of receiving a damaged product, the packaging material shifted inside the box, leaving much of the back of the sink, where the faucet is located, vulnerable to the exact damage we saw. Tony assured me that before shipping the third sink they would open the box and inspect the packaging. We lost faith at that point, but Tony was all in and realized we were really targeting that sink. The following Monday I received an email from Tony with tracking information and reassurance that the item had been inspected prior to shipment. The third car wash arrived on Wednesday. The tape on the top of the box had snapped and my hopes of getting an acceptable product were dwindling. When I opened the package I noticed for the first time that the sink was intact with no broken corners. Then I took a light from the store and started looking for little cracks that weren't there. The third car wash has arrived in perfect condition! We originally wanted the sink installed professionally, but a delay caused scheduling conflicts with the installer, so I decided to do the installation myself. While the clips that attach it to the underside of the countertop (it was installed as a top mount) were a bit fiddly, we have at least one on all four sides. Installation, including our existing ROfilter, a clean Delta 'Touch 2O faucet, took about 3-4 hours. We were a little confused getting creative with the new storage, but looking back, successful science projects are a lot of fun! Result. We love this sink! Reading the reviews, we noticed that several people were talking about "hard water" stains and whiteness. Our water isn't soft by any means, but it's not hard in West Texas either. A good example of our water: DO NOT wash your car in the heat of the day. It stains no matter how fast you wipe it dry. However, after about a month we found NO WATER STAINS in the sink. Result 2.0. Customer service. Kraus gets TEN STARS! You absolutely deserve our business and our recommendation. So many companies today operate under the unfortunate motto of "We don't care, and it shows”. Not with Kraus. They absolutely care and will definitely deserve your business if you get the chance! Your customer service is absolutely outstanding!
