Wow, how excited! Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

As you can see from the picture I uploaded, I can't straighten the handle of this mop. Difficult to use to be honest. I'm so disappointed because I have to send it back and ask for a refund and give a bad review. If someone can't tell me what I doubt, if something is wrong. However, no assembly instructions were included. But for the most part it was understandable. Except that I can't straighten the mop handle and can only mop in a horizontal position.
