This was a simple and beautiful update to our motorhome. I've always disliked our double-encrypted Coleman keys and wanted more security. This door lock/lock will do the trick. Installation: It comes with very good easy to read instructions and there are many videos on the internet. Installation only took about 20 minutes after I had a second person help. Using foam sealant required someone to press the lock against the door so I could install the interior. What we like: 1) The external keyboard was very easy to reset to a new combination and now we don't need a key to get in. But it comes with keys just in case and when the batteries are low. 4-6 digit security codes (digits 1-8 only).2) Keyboard backlight when any key is pressed. We reduced the volume as it was getting too loud. What could be improved: 1) The inner lip you pull to close the door is very small compared to our original handle. It's hard to close the door. 2) The inner red latch of the lock feels cheap and flimsy. We know the latch moves, but I wish the handle on this latch was more solid, maybe metal instead of plastic. 3) keychain. This appears to be a late addition. Anyone who has it (as if they had your key) can open your door, but they cannot use it to open someone else's lock. FOB itself is large, bulky and heavy; nothing we want to take with us. We don't even use them. 4) Not made in USA.
