I'm not a friend of thick pillows. It was exactly what I was looking for. I bought one 2 years ago and just recently my husband fell in love with this pillow. Ideal for sleeping on your back and sleeping on your stomach. The memory foam wraps around your neck just enough. It's very soft and I was able to use it the first night I bought it. There was no smell immediately after unpacking. If you are looking for a THIN pillow look no further. You won't find a better pillow. Trust me, I searched a long time before I found this pillow (and no, I wasn't paid to write this review). I only give the pillow credit for my blissful, restful nights of rest! Good luck finding better sleep!
