This bag had a very good selection of grains, just what I needed to finish my river table. The price was much lower than the Mestool brand I was using, so I decided to try them. The surface of the grinding wheel has actually held up very well. That's the support I have to face. Long before the disc had to be replaced due to surface wear, it no longer held up on my random orbital sander. I thought it might be because my grinder was getting older and used a lot. I knew the pad could be replaced, so I did it, thinking it would fix the problem. Unfortunately it isn't. Because of this deficiency, an otherwise very valuable and very well-functioning record was probably three times as expensive. In case anyone thinks this was my grinder, even after installing a new backing plate the Mestool brand discs stayed in place with no problem.
