Use it to make feeding my beard easier. The black plastic tubes are textured on the inside to allow the crickets to move around more easily, but they contained small plastic shavings that should be washed off before use. Unfortunately the clear plastic caps on the vials are brittle and one has cracked and nearly broke in half the first time it is put on and I'm worried the access cap will break but so far it hasn't. A piece of tape holds the broken lid together, somewhat obstructing the view, but it is usable. One of the flaps was bent and didn't close properly so I heated it with steam from a kettle to smooth it out and now it works perfectly. I have no problem with sprouts - the striped crickets I have seem quite tame and content. Using a sponge cut to the size of a bowl works really well for pouring, which will help prevent spills and a dirty container.
