This thing packs a punch. I've used quite a few portable lights for videography/film (even photography) previously and I must say, for the price, you won't go wrong. I think this thing is most comparable to the new Falconeyes mini RGB light. It is simpler in construction, but more solid than the competition. If you're looking for a small light without ALL the bells and whistles (let's be honest here, who needs 100 lighting modes for a mini light?), this will do the job.PROS:- The build quality on this light is very good. There is no loose sounds when shaken. It is solid aluminum. Some other competitor products are plasticky. This is not. The camera bracket mount is ALSO aluminum so it won't snap.- It is very bright. Love how bright this device gets. I would say the increments from 1%-10% could be a bit smoother, but at least it's not as bad as the godox sl60 where the percentages are just a joke. 100% brightness is blinding, truly.- Color seems accurate. I don't have a CRI monitor on hand, but after testing it with my cameras, it seems GOOD ENOUGH for the average videomaker. RGB is a bonus. I think they are able to reach good CRI values because RGB leds are only on one side of the light (it is double sided).- It comes with a light diffuser silicone cover. They don't advertise this, but it works well.- Battery life seems good enough. Nothing to complain about. I've tested it and so far, it's gone 3-6 hours without needing a recharge (at 50%ish brightness)CONS:- No bluetooth/phone app. That's why it's cheaper than the competition. I never use this anyways when I'm on a set, so I'm not too concerned.- I thought this light could turn on BOTH sides at once. Unfortunately, only one side can be active at the same time. Also, it was slightly unclear to me what they meant by double-sided. Now I know, one side turns on RGB and cannot emit normal white light. The other side is only a normal white light with temperature controls.- Lighting effects modes are not the best. There are 12 limited ones.- Magnets are definitely an afterthought here. Competitors do a better job allowing you to stick lights to tripods and such. I think the magnets in this just aren't strong enough to do this. It works on some flat surfaces, but not on irregular surfaces.Again, none of these cons are a dealbreaker. For the price and what it's worth, it far exceeds my expectations. 5 stars.
