Works well, no problems. There's a lot of light, but a fairly wide beam, which is what I wanted. I don't think they would be very good as spots if you're trying to shine very far. I installed them on the back of my truck using longer pivot pins with thumbscrews so I could adjust them to shine into the box the way I wanted. Also, holes were drilled in the rear fins to allow water to drain when the headlights are pointing down. Be careful not to drill into the lamp itself. I saw a couple of that brand's bulbs mounted on a Jeep roof rack and noticed the paint on the back had failed and the castings were corroded so I applied a few coats of HD paint. back before installation.
